Default 1 inch diameter, ream out & resleeve?

So Grant,

Can you ream a 1" Master cylinder to an 1-1/4"? or Can you sleeve an 1-1/4 to an inch?

I agree the Chev M/c's are a side mount affair.. can I ream & re-sleeve them?
