In addition, when operating an open Advanced Dressing Station (ADS), a section of six 3-Ton, 4x4, 4-berth ambulances from the Motor Ambulance Convoy was allotted to the Headquarters Company of the Light Field or Field Ambulance to aid in the evacuation of casualties from the ADS.
