It looks like it is based on the C8A or C8AX.
I haven't seen paper reference to the type before, but that doesn't mean much because I keep being surprised at the things that were oficially built on CMP chassis. Recently I have found official reference to KL welders on Chev chassis where before I had thught they were all on Fords to have common spares for the truck engine and welder engine. The same source makes reference to a snowblower on CMP chassis as opposed to MCP Ford-MH. Some of our contributors in the Winnipeg area have probably seen the truck and may know its history.
