It's that time of year again when we have opportunity to pay our respects to those men & women who gave so much, and those that ultimately gave their lives.
Poor weather and Easter weekend seem to have conspired to diminish the crowds in Gympie this year. This was mildly disappointing, but still decent numbers turned up to enjoy the march. Rain fell for entire period of the parade and those of us that participated...........well we got a bit wet. Some damp clothes is a very small price to pay when you think about it! This year saw the inclusion of a beautiful Blitz FAT restored by Gympie local, Mr Lloyd McCarthy. ![]() I believe this is the first time this truck was displayed in a Gympie ANZAC Day parade. Try as I might, Lloyd seemed to duck every attempt for me to catch a decent photo with his truck. That, combined with a dodgy camera kept the number of good photos low. Next year......New camera.
