I do a parade at Gaythorne RSL at 6am
then my local Samford one at 8am then off to Brisbane city for the big one. This year I did two trips around on the first trip I had a nice guy who was a POW for 3 years and was in great condition. In the photo attached. The second trip I had a post war RAAF police officer and a hell of a nice guy too. Half way through the parade a elderly female nurse marching said she could no go any further so an ambulance officer picked her up and put her in the back of a Jeep in front of me and the crowd cheered like mad! We had a great club turn out. approx 25 Jeeps Chev staff car C15 chev dodge 3/4 ton radio van studie 6x6 post war gmc 6x6 Cheers Jeff
