Typical Top Gear production, no expenses spared. Crush a couple of cars, blow up some more? Sure, no probs! Great TV.
It actually IS a military vehicle. The South Africans developed mine resistant vehicles for their own wars. They are now prime export vehicles to the countries who previously focussed on the Cold War scenario. H.
