Commemorative track link, Ford Dagenham 1944

Hello all,

Does anyone else out there have one of these? I'm fairly sure this wouldn't have been the only one. The text should be clear from the photos but just in case it reads 'Last of 4,567,090 links cast Ford Motor Company Dagenham 22-4-44'

Was it the end of track production there? Had they stockpiled enough for the forseeable needs or did production resume at some later point? I'd be interested to see whether there are any more examples out there.
