Default Good point about documentation

Hi All

"......All "Finds" of trucks should be done with the complete agreement of the actual owner of the item, supported with some sort of documentation proving the sale or transfer of the items......"

Very good point about documentation, after many problems getting vehicles registered or titled by members of our local club we have been advising members to include pictures in the Bill of Sale for vehicles or major parts. I know from personal experience that the Bill of Sale including a picture of my Pattern 12 C60L was the finial proof that counted in getting it registered and titled.

By the way, I have always read the term "Boarder Raids" as being more of tongue and cheek description of an exercise were people from outside the region come in and find local treasures that have been lying undiscovered and/or under appreciated, buy them and clear them away before the guy down the road who has had his eye on the prize for years even knows what happened. Of course this is the view point of someone looking for CMPs in a land where basically there are none.

Cheers Phil
