Pearl harbor

Hi All

It was the 70th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor by the Japanese on 07/12/1943. I do not recall any mention on Radio, TV or in the Newspaper here in South Australia. I would have thought this was a significant event that should have been mentioned so that the younger generations are kept abreast of historic events that changed the world. Maybe it was more an American thing but I believe we should all be greatful because if the Americans had not entered the war in the Pacific, who knows we could all be speaking Japanese now.
