LCVP restoration

A French gentleman found an abandoned Landing Craft Vehicle, Personnel (LCVP) in Brittany, France. He launched a rescue on his own with very limited resources, but an enormous amount of passion and energy (i.e. to rescue the LCVP from the river bed where it had been standing for years he braced old containers around the hull, you have to look at the pictures to believe it). The site contains very nice pictures from WWII LCVPs and a complete slide show on the restoration process.
