Default Late Pattern CMP side and tail lamp gaskets

When rebuilding either the Ford or Chevrolet versions of the late pattern CMP Side and Tail Lamps, the original water tight gaskets that are placed into the body of the marker lamp first, to provide the weather seal against the red or white plastic lenses are often missing or beyond reuse.

The modern replacement is a simple O-Ring, available at your favourite automotive or plumbing supply store. All you need to ask for is an O-Ring with the following Nominal Dimensions:

Inside Diameter: 3/4 - inch
Outside diameter: 15/16 - inch
Width: 3/32 - inch
