Default Christmas day drive

Its a bit late but I have just got the photos from my neighbour, on Christmas day I had a special guest out for a drive in my carrier, Lynn can expand on Dave's exploits. Basically there was no need for a heads up on how to drive a carrier required as Dave had done a driving and maintenance course when he was in the NZ Army, he watched closely as I took it for a short drive down onto the railway land then we swapped seats, He had not forgotten anything and was a legend behind the wheel. Afterwards Dave gave me a few tips and said that although good cross country carriers tended to throw tracks when turning sharply amongst tussock. Dave said a few days later that the drive had bought back many memories and that the last time he had driven a carrier was back sometime around 1950!
