Hi Tony,

A great bit of footage. "Gigantic" the lead traction engine was just finished the day before the off. I have been watching the restoration for some time and they only got the steam valve timing right the day before.

Great Dorset is the biggest and the best steam rally in the world.

Jill and I went there as guests of one of the founding members in 2009, (Dick Shepard who is an Military Vehicle enthusiast too). The public are only in for 4 days but we were there from day one of set-up and 8 days in total.

This year would have been good as the theme was WWI.
