Remembrance Day 2014

Took my grand daughter with me today to her first Remembrance Day service.
It was a cold day today a temperature of -8 and with wind chill it was -18. She was a real little trooper thou never complained , she is only three years old and was interested in all that was going on. I explained things to her as service went along and she never even jumped at the 21 gun salute. For being such a cold day it was the biggest turn out in a long time that I have seen.
It was so nice to see so many of the kids turn out today, looks like the schools are bringing more of their classes out then years ago. It is very important for them to learn and makes our veterans feel good to see the young people coming out.
