Folks,
Thanks to Michael Miller, curator at the War museum, I was able visit last Friday while the museum was closed to the public to view their Lynx and get some measurements and close up pictures. As a bonus Michael toured me through their restoration shop. It was a great opportunity see some of the work that takes place behind the scenes. Their Ram Kangaroo and Ram 6 pounder are real pieces of history. Their Lynx is hull # 4013, with a build date of October 1944, and also served in Italy. One month earlier than mine and only 212 units before mine. Great motivational trip and I highly recommend the museum. Peter IMG_1616 (2).jpg IMG_1642 (2).jpg |
