Just tried to post the draft of the article, but it will not load because of a security issue with the photos and MLU software. Probably just as well because don't want to HiJack your thread in to a general discussion of jacks.

I suspect that what you are looking for is recommendation on jacks available in Canada that people have had good luck with. So will sit back and see what other people have found to work well. Will try and post article later, will try and private message you the tech tip I'm working on.

As to what I use, 2 ton roll around floor jack has been my primary shop jack for more than 15 years. Little on the small size. I supplement this when putting the big trucks up on jack stands with a 10 ton porta-power unit.
