Canadian 1 Gallon Can
A friend found this in a second-hand furniture shop in Surrey with some other 2-Gallon cans.
I wasn't sure what it was, but recognised the brass cap as being same style as more common 2 Gallon cans, so bought it. I think the markings show it to be WWII Canadian. This one has the faint remains of "WATER" stenciled on it. Where these cans used throughout the war on Canadian vehicles? Would they have been part of the kit on my 1943 C60 Wrecker? Thanks
