Hello all,
I found a number of interesting vehicle photos, which you may already know of here: http://saafww2photographs.yolasite.c...45-album-1.php http://saafww2photographs.yolasite.c...45-album-2.php http://saafww2photographs.yolasite.c...45-album-3.php Among the many aircraft photos there are a number of SAAF vehicles, some of which carry a fascinating array of markings. In the attached photos there is a Jeep which has some text forward of the air recognition roundel on the bonnet. Does anybody have any idea what it might say? Its angle makes it practically impossible to read. The first line could be the vehicle's serial number. Any idea what the second line could be? All vehicles carry a winged "7" for "SAAF 7 WING". The Jeep has a Springbok below the windscreen in front of the driver. Thanks on advance for any ideas. Fyll ![]() Last edited by T. Metsovitis; 28-06-15 at 13:26. |
