Default Will the link fit the other hole?

Hi

It looks to me that the link hole you are using is closer to the shoe face and a little lower which would reduce travel of the shoe.

The adjustment for cable travel on my HUP is at other end where the shield for the cable attaches to the frame then also up at lever link going back to the cross bar.

On my HUP I was able to reuse the original parking brake cables, all that needed to be replaced was springs that pull the cable back to disengage the parking brake when it is released.

Cheers Phil
