Another one heading to NSW or beyond.
This NR Mack was a WWII 10 ton GS truck during WWII it was used on the North South Road between Alice Springs and Darwin. Then it was used by the State Electricity Commission (Vic) at the Yallourn North brown coal mine. It then went to somewhere in Queensland and was purchased for restoration by a bloke in Bairnsdale. He decided that it was too big a job for him and asked me to find it a home. That I have done and it is off to Tumbarumba (NSW). I think the 24" tyres will be a problem to find. The mechanical side is quite complete and the engine turns over. There are a few broken spring leaves in the rear springs, but there are spares in the dump body. If anyone has a manual for it or parts book, please let me know. Regards Rick.
