| Never write off an old Soldier!

I found this image while searching for 25pr related stuff. _20160712_172711.JPG _20160712_172806.JPG Quite self explanatory, really! I have an Australian Second World War veteran in my charge at work. He trained our commandos. One tough character. Although he now has trouble walking unaided, it would take a very brave/foolish person to approach him from behind and clamp a hand on his shoulder. His wife warned me about that when I first met them both, some 9 years ago. My own Father was the same. Gentle as a lamb, UNLESS you grabbed him from behind. They really were the toughest generation, weren't they! to them all. God bless em. Wish they could live forever.
