-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A big party last week,for saying goodby to Andries Kelder in the "Waterloo" hall of the Bernhardkazerne in Amersfoort, the Netherlands.Andries was, after his retiring by the Dutch Army, 17 year chief workshop manager by the Dutch Cavalry Museum. He have together with his crew restored lots of vehicles & tanks. Here are some of them : C15TA - Otter - Ford Lynx - White Scout - Brengun Carrier - Dingo - Humber Scout - Humber Armoured - White Halftrack - Staghound - Stuart's - Sherman's - etc. etc. All the vehicles / tanks are in a perfect condition and ready for driving on & of the road. An incredible job Andries !!! Bedankt Dries, tot ziens 2000, the office from Andries with Bart Vanderveen and Brian Gough 2001, Andries between Dirk Leegwater's Loyd Carrier and 6 pdr. 2002, the young guy Andries, beside the White half-track 2003, Andries is showing in his workshop, Z.K.H. Prins Bernhard some bad bearings & gears of the Stuart M3A1 2004, after 17 restoring years,for the Dutch Cavalry Museum as "Chief Workshop Manager", time for a party together with collega's and friends |
