That is a very basic kit without new jets in it , it is just a few gaskets and seals and for similar money you can get a more comprehensive kit. I tried to rebuild a W1 but found it to be a frustrating experience and the thing never worked correctly - it has many bits n pieces that can go wrong . The best thing GM ever did regarding carbies was to release the Rochester carby in 1949 . In concept , the Rochester carby is directly opposite to the W1 , being a very simple carby with nothing to adjust and mess up . The Rochester with the smaller bore base is meant for the 216 Chevy engine. I have one on my C8, it has never misbehaved.
