Default Steering connecting rod DUST COVER Chevrolet

I am triying to figure out what the Dust covers looks like on a C8/C15 Steering connecting rod, and/or what others have used to keep the dirt from getting into the connecting rod and damaging the ball from the steering box/arm and the ball from the steering knuckle/tie rod.

I am thinking of fitting a set like in the picture, but I have no idea if this is what was originally fitted. Any ideas/suggestions?

Alex
