For Sale: 1944 Artillery tail light

I wonder if it is post war but using wartime strap parts. The colour and the fact that the lamp is apparently original makes it look that way. Is the body dated at all?

If you still have it next week, please bring it. If somebody else wants to buy it, no problem.

I have a cable and lamp assembly and am looking for a bracket and strap to go with it but would prefer one I know is correct.
