2) Electrical part. 3) Not 100% certain. They look similar to the M38/M38A1 headlight units, but there are a few differences. My best guess is early civilian jeep (CJ2A, Cj3A, CJ3B). The attached photo is from a US Navy CJ V35/U, which was essentially a CJ3A with some modifications for military use. Owen.
