Screen grabs taken from the Canadian Army Newsreels No. 14
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CXOIabu_Wm4 sicily canadian sherman 2.jpg sicily canadian sherman.jpg sicily canadian sherman 3.jpg Names appear to be ALGONQUIN, ATLAS and CAMARADE, but which armoured regiment did they belong to? The squadron tactical signs look similar in shade to the R/W/R flash indicating red for senior regiment, that being the Ontarios - but being a b/w film can't be certain. regards, Jack |
