I think there are not enough collectors of MV in Canada to make a difference. I would suggest that if there is a provincial organization representing collector cars, that people join that. Most of the regulations are going to be provincial that will effect us anyway.
In Manitoba, MAAC is the provincial organization, and prairie command has always been a part of it. https://www.facebook.com/MAAC.MB/
