| Ford CMP- Autopulse switch wiring?

Hi Mariano, Nice photo of the Autopulse electric fuel pump. I thought I would have a look at my original ignition switch tails again to figure how the Autopulse was wired up. There is a doubled up red and black wire from the ignition switch. One goes to the resistor but I was not sure where the other one went. Wiring diagram states: "No. 45- ignition switch to lead from Autopulse pump" "No. 46- Autopulse switch to Autopulse pump" Could not understand why there would be two leads to the Autopulse the way it read. I believe No. 45 may just be a jump to the input side of the Autopulse switch as per attached diagram. With that arrangement one cannot run the Autopulse without having the ignition switch on. This would be a good safety feature. One can still start the engine without having to run the Autopulse, a valuable feature when not needed. It sounds very simple and perhaps that is all it was. Would be interested to hear what others may think. Cheers,
