With the carrier now nearly finished, I felt like a simple restoration before restarting the truck. The No.27 Trailer has sat in the corner of the shed for long enough so, as most of the parts are there, I pulled out the ‘cooker’ to get it ready for the sand blasters.
I have not found a lot of detailed information on restoring these and as I don’t have a workshop manual and the parts manual does not give too many clues as to how some parts are assembled (Not that there there are too many bits to pull apart), it will require careful examination of components. Fortunately, this trailer came as a kit, so the first question was how to pull the axle apart. This was my first idea and it worked without any issues ![]() ![]()
