The installation of rifle brackets was not an approved modification on the M151A2. I did find the SMG brackets installed on a couple of the 30 M151A2s I bought back in the day, but it was entirely random. I can't recall finding any of the rifle brackets installed. Nor had I ever seen the US style brackets on any Cdn M151A2.



I did see one M151A2 with the swing arm GPMG mount on it when I was in Gagetown, however the CFTO on these specifically mentioned the M151A2 was not suitable for them.


They all had the Cdn Ansul 5 pound fire extinguisher bracket however.
