Default Gippsland

This pic turned up on the Gippsland F/B page . Looks similar to a 1939 Ford army Battery Staff ute but not sure ?

"In the saddle is the local builder, the late Mr. R. J. 'Jack' Grubb. An uncle by marriage to my Aunt Lois. Sitting upon an Early 50's Matchless G80 (or similar). Unfortunately I cannot definitely identify anyone else. Probably early to mid 50's and almost definetly behind the dunes at Seaspray."
