Old Bill P. up at Marrar in NSW told me his father bought a brand new 1939 Ford sedan , Bill said after 5 years of battering and rough use on the corrugated torture tracks ,the terrible Western NSW roads, the car was completely stuffed , the chassis had cracked and been welded numerous times , the motor had been replaced twice.
