Default Gmc

Repairing the running board of a 1940 GMC truck. The ' General Motors Truck' trim is seen on the bonnet.

The running board support brackets are fixed with heavy duty rivets, I drilled out these rivets yesterday, on my 1940 Chevrolet 15 cwt chassis, what a horrible job !

The 'Holden' body tag is seen on the lower corner of the cowl. These cabs are made from a heavy gauge steel, I'm guessing around 18 gauge. I can barely lift and move a door by myself, so heavy. I'm looking for a decent cab, my examples require major repairs.
