What a hoot!

That was sitting on a shelf in the far back left corner of the store in the 70's along with a Coils, Aerial Tuning No. 2 A from a 52-Set. The name of the equipment (not wireless as I recall) was still legible under the newer stencil on the lower front of the case. I bought the Coils Assembly.

If the older stencils are no longer easily read, the VAOS Number might tell what it was connected to equipment wise. Radar comes to mind as Jim had a ton of that stuff sitting behind the Highway Quonset at that time.
