I'm glad you enjoyed the photos. If you want any of them, let me know, and I'll email copies I didn't change in order to post them here, to you. Just let me know! Geoff is right, you were definately "there" with us in spirit ... I know physically would have been even better ... but you were "with us" believe me! Yes ... the connection with Don definately gave me a lot more knowledge of my Uncles and of course the Royal Winnipeg Rifles of WW2 and then some , and so did people in here, especially Mark Tonner about Uncle Eddie ... I'll bet I have more knowledge of many things about my Uncle's than many have.... thanks so much to these men, I'm extremely fortunate to have found MLU and the members in here.Norm and Betty ... yes ... all down the lines of parade-watchers there were all ages of kids ... I deliberately took many photos including the crowds of people turned out so you all could see ... hold that knowledge in your heart because these kids are learning the history and how this connects to our rights and freedoms and all TODAY ... and they'll pass that on to people, friends and family, that they know too ... what I like to call the "Eternal Light" (of enlightenment ... or keeping the knowledge and APPRECIATION (=understanding) known)Yep ... I was thrilled ![]() Karmen |
