OK....I can see it now. We never had this type, but I do remember many years ago, neighbours using them on a Sunday afternoon and the constant clatter of the wheel ratchets as they kept backing them up to get another go at the bits they missed.
Still think it it would not have been an easy outfit to use, unless it was a means of exercise.
