Default 13 Cab Sheetmetal

Gents,

I have a question regarding the sheetmetal that surrounds the radiator of the 13cab. Of particular interest is the bits of tinwork around the cross brace for the radiator support bracket.

It appears that ( and I will get a picture this evening and post it ) the cross brace prevents the easy removal and installation of the radiator covering bodywork. There has been some trimming done to effect more clearnce around the cross brace.

My old pal Tommy, the WW2 welder, said it was easier to cut that brace out to access the rad. Luckilly it is still there.

Does anyone have a picture of what the sheetmetal around the radiator of a 13 cab ( Chev ) should look like? Were there small recess' for the cross member to nestle into, or nothing at all?

Thanks in advance.

Stewart
