Thanks John:
Comparing para 37 to the table in Appx D indicates a shortage of 18; I wonder which units received the 57mm? I'll get into the war diaries of the ATk units in Italy to see if there is anything there. I helped reprint the unit history for 1 ATk and there is no mention in it. An excuse for another trip to Shilo!  Cheers! Mike
