Default One flew over the Cuckoo's nest..

or that's a Raptor of a different colour!

Ever seen a sea-foam green Osprey before? Well I just did on my morning walk. I've been known to drive the odd person crazy by suddenly out of nowhere shouting out, "Warbird!" and quickly raising my eyes to the sky. Call me Radar O'Reilly but I swear I can hear the howl of a Merlin or the thunder of an R-2800 or the roar of a G.E. F 414 turbo-fan long before any other human. One of the things I love most about the Metroplex is the volume of air traffic. Whether it's General, Commercial, or Military there is always something interesting flying by in the skies of north Texas.
I was on my walk this morning when suddenly the hair on the back of my neck straightened and my ears perked up...what the heck is that sound...never heard anything like it...sounds like an F-18 escorting a couple of Sea Stallions. I look up. Dang! it's a V-22 Osprey! Shite! Where's a camera when you need one! The darn thing flew right over my house, slowly disappeared to the East then returned for another pass before disappearing to the South. Probably heading back to Fort Worth.

I love starting my day with a shite-eating grin!

CHIMO!
