German Ford V8 1943

Hi there,

what's the story with these German wartime Ford engines.
Are they the same as the allied ones? can you fit one of those in a Chevy,Ford, Loyd, Universal carrier etc? I heard they come even in 5,3 liter versions. That will make you truck go....and also your fuel consumption :-(

Do allied Ford V8 parts fit on these German engines?
