Was checking a little on the wireless this afternon. The heater is -not- attached to the wheel carrier. It is entierly hold on place by bolts to the body. The serial # on it is B-11576 and Model # is 204212
How the burner works, is a bit to much to list here, but Vic if you give me your snail mail, I can send you a copy of a Manual called "Artic Equipment for Canadian Military Pattern Vehicles" (RTCI-C1) of July 1942. It has a section among several, regarding the "Gasoline Body Heaters" for "30-cwt Wireless Body: 3 Ton 4x4 Ambulance and Office Body". There all about the heater is.
