Politcal correctness gone mad!

I don't normally post these sort of things but after hearing the most absurd ruling on the radio this morning I could not contain myself.
Here goes.

A local council in I think the north of England has banned its' employees from using the term "Polically Correct" as it is not Politically Correct to use it!

I am sure other posters have come across similar ridiculous rulings.

Did you know that you are not allowed to used blackboards and chalk in schools. White boards and colour markers are allowed. What is the difference!

The term "nitty gritty" is not allowed in colleges as it refers to slave ships.

The list goes on and on.
There must be people who are paid tens of thousands of pounds by councils and other such bodies, to sit and think of these things.
What the hell is the matter with this country.
Get a life and get real!
