David,

What a special effort that database is . You must be our number cruncher on the MLU forum I think . I spotted my 1940 15 cwt ute in your list ........ 99% of these utes were sent overseas with the AIF , hence their rarity at home . Interestingly my vehicle has the CFA ( Country Fire Authority ) logo on the door , but the CFA didn't come into existance until 1944 I believe . It escaped military service by some miracle . The Holden body plate says: colour PRT RD , which is Port Red I think . The faded red paint is visible on the cab .
