Here's something a bit different -
The King's Dragoon Guards were Armoured Car Regt for 10 Corps in Italy - in October 1943 they formed a Cavalry troop (Usefull in the Rough Terrain & bad weather)
In December 1944 KDG were ordered to Greece - Photo shows them at Tarranto waiting to board LST
