Thanks for sharing these interesting pictures with us! Your mention re. the Chev axles made me remember the old debate about this earlier on this forum. In Australian CGT mystery I quoted Ford Illustrated Spare Parts List F15-A 15 cwt-4x4 (SE. 114, Issued May, 1943) which states that "Ford design front axle C111WQF-3000-A2 and G.M. design rear axle C011WQ-4000 were used with the following motor serial numbers", followed by a list of only 43 numbers, all in the 2G-5...-F and 2G-6...F range. I believe an example of this Ford front / Chev rear axle combination is shown below. It was restored in the UK; moved to Holland where it was later offered for sale (current location uncertain): ![]() Yours must be of an earlier batch when both front and rear axles were supplied by GM. Several F15A´s survive with this axle combination, one is in the UK (The Ashby CMP Stables), others were found in Canada by Rob Love (e.g. F15A serial F10616). Please keep us posted on the progress of your collection (which is building up at an amazing speed!), and let us know if there any details we can help you with. Thanks, Hanno
