On some the numbers were nicely hand painted as on my FGT which used the Ford model code C291 and then F.A.T. 4X4. Often, with vehicles which saw long service such as the gun tractors they were repainted several times resulting in a look like this when they weathered. It's had at least three repaints not counting the sawmill red which has completely weathered away. The last army coat was gloss deep bronze green. ![]()
