Default PPCLI Badge?

Hi Folks,

I spotted a badge of some sort in the local pawn shop today (don't know the price on it or anything about it but the woman is going to ask)

It's PPCLI, has a rounded crown on top, brass (looks like) badge, and a silver (sterling or pewter?) center/middle part with symbols that look like a combination of swords, wings and an anchor.
It's Princess Patricias Canadian Light Infantry written on it ... I couldn't see well enough to read without my glasses, and on the "clip" part on the back it has PM984. It clips onto something (like a money clip/belt clip idea)

Can anyone tell me anything about this badge?

Thanks,

Karmen
