Welcome to the world of CMPs .... you are off to a great start with a C8A. I hope you are now relaxed from your 'high pucker factor' ride home with it. From looking at the panel on the left side at the rear, I think your HUP may be a Mach ZL-2 model. Could you post a picture of the back. Is there a drop down panel opening on the upper left side? I am aware of 4 other C8As built on Contract LV2611 between May 11 and May 15, 1944 and all of them are Mach ZLs. You could have a very rare model there. Are there any fittings remaining inside the body? Cheers, Brian
