Default Khaki No 3 Paint

Folks,

Greetings.

I realize there has been lots of discussion over whether Canadian WWII Jeeps were painted Khaki No 3 or otherwise.

In the mid-late 40's the Canadian Government painted equipment in their other non-military branches with Khaki No 3.

I would love to see a color picture of what khaki No 3 looks like.

Also would like to see the paint formula or have information where I can obtain this colour.

Sure appreciate any help in this regard.

My intersts lie in I am scratchbuilding a large model of the Public Works Department's - Tug Hercules, (a steam tug boat on the Great lakes) which was painted Khaki No 3 with surplus military paint throughout the 40's and 50's.

Thanks.

Rick
